Hairy: 3 Channel Video 2011

Sculpture material becomes focus for the 3 Channel Videos that get ruptured. The rupture simulates the instantaneous shift / change that happens with a cut of Hair, Video, or Wood through quick bursts of close-ups and sound.

Channel 1: Beard 2011

Channel 1 features: Shave, shaving my beard with a razor sharp axe in front of a redwood tree. Beard Object, pulling objects out of my beard.

Channel 2: Hair 2011

Channel 2 features: Hair Grain, Extreme Close-ups of my hair framed as a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal. Hair Ball, a phantasm floating hair ball surveying a redwood forest.

Channel 3: Ground 2011

Channel 3 features: Hair Lay, laying my hair over objects around my neighborhood, and Beard Rub, ecu of rubbing my beard on objects and surfaces around the home.

Channel Rupture 2011

Channel 1 is interrupted with bursts of sharpenting an Axe. Channel 2&3 are interrupted by an axe chopping & splitting redwood.
